It consists of an industrial park in several phases, which is built in Greece, on a land of one million square meters (m2) and whose initial phase will comprise 140 thousand m2. It will be a reactivator of the economy at a time when Covid-19 has the country in a difficult situation. It includes $ 10 million of investment in phase one and the generation of 7 thousand jobs in the different areas of operation. It will contemplate a technological corridor in the areas in which Costa Rica has been successful in attracting investment, complemented by a scientific park with universities, technical training centers, laboratory clusters, support services, residential, commercial, recreational and cultural areas. The place will be ideal for living, working, studying and having fun in harmony with the environment, said José Antonio Herrero, President of Costa Rica Green Valley. It will have a strategic location with easy access from Alajuela, Heredia and San José and a proximity to the Juan Santamaría International Airport. In turn, it will directly impact the residents of the cantons of Grecia, Atenas, Poás, Sarchi, Naranjo, Palmares, San Ramón and other residents of the western area, as well as the Central Valley. Construction will meet the highest environmental standards by having environmental certifications in both the construction and operational stages. In addition, it will implement internal tools that allow identifying and implementing eco-efficiency practices, specifically in energy management strategies, efficient management of solid waste and conservation of water resources. While in the construction phase, the measures dictated by the Ministry of Health will be complied with, which are mandatory for all people who enter or participate in the work.
